By accessing or using PawMatch ("the App," "we," "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
PawMatch is a free dog breed recommendation tool. Users answer a lifestyle quiz, and our AI provides personalized dog breed suggestions. The App is provided "as is" for informational and entertainment purposes.
3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Breed recommendations are generated by artificial intelligence and are not professional veterinary, pet care, or behavioral advice. PawMatch recommendations are suggestions based on general breed characteristics and your self-reported preferences. They should not be your sole basis for acquiring a dog. We strongly recommend:
- Researching breeds independently from multiple authoritative sources
- Consulting with a licensed veterinarian or certified animal behaviorist
- Spending time with a breed before adopting or purchasing
- Contacting reputable breeders or rescue organizations for breed-specific guidance
PawMatch makes no warranty that AI recommendations are accurate, complete, or appropriate for your specific situation.
4. Intellectual Property
All content, design, branding, and code in PawMatch — including the PawMatch name and logo — are owned by PawMatch and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the App without written permission.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the App's AI services
- Submit false, misleading, or abusive content through the quiz
- Circumvent any rate limits or security measures
- Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the App
6. Third-Party Links
The App may link to third-party websites (Petfinder, Adopt-a-Pet, ASPCA, etc.). These are provided for your convenience; PawMatch has no control over their content and accepts no responsibility for them. Visiting third-party sites is at your own risk.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PawMatch and its owners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to decisions made based on breed recommendations. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the App.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI results will be accurate or suitable for your needs.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time without notice. We may update these Terms; the "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
